Hello Reader,
I hope this email finds you well.
My name is Sandy Moats. We have launched the Mental Health Support Center website, created from a mom's view and experience with five children who have battled with Mental Illness. My recent obstacle was my son's diagnosis of Disassociation Personality Disorder. He has completed his last year of school and is in the transitional stage with Autism.
The purpose of this site is to provide resources and support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment for those seeking answers.
I aim to provide to families, schools, churches, and faith-based organizations as well. I hope to unite those in need and have nonjudgmental support, info on resources, and links to professionals who can assist you and your family during your journey through this difficult time.
There is no way I can give you advice as I am not a counselor. What I can do is, help you understand how to take control of your situation.
The term mental health refers to the ability of an individual or group to achieve their optimum physical, mental, and spiritual health. It is possible to achieve a good standard or quality of life with mental illness through a combination of medication and talking treatments.
Please let me know what you think of MHSC and if there is anything we can improve. My goal is to meet the needs of the community. Our area has a long wait time for a diagnosis (six months to two years). We want to create a plan B until more opportunities to provide for caregivers and loved ones with Mental Health issues.
If you have any questions, please reply to this email. You can always count on me for assistance!
In the meantime, let me know what you think of our sister site. CenterPoint Printables. We have a FREE Resource Library Sign-up and receive the password and check out all our free printables Please check back often as new material will be added, and let me know what you think.
